Another major milestone passed for inflo™ with the release of version 3.0

(Sydney, 25th May 2023) Techtel, creators of inflo™, announced today that a major new release of the web based media processing solution is now available.  As Version 3.0 takes flight we’re excited to name a few of the new features on offer.

Our customers want easy ways to trim and repurpose their content without needing to install workstation software or open a complex editing platform and so we are pleased to announce that inflo now includes a browse-based cuts edit tool.  inflo users will be able to easily navigate to the content they need, select the edit tool and cut away their favourite part.  The process is non destructive to the source content which remains protected and safe as your master clip.

Still on editing, we can also now support edit and browse of live content whilst it continues to be ingested.  This has been a huge acheivment by the inflo dev team who are excited to use this technology for lots of things to come in the future.

New also in V3, we’re adding a granular multi-user architecture that allows virtually unlimited unique users with access controlled over several tiers that you determine when you deploy inflo.  Our customers can control which video sources users can see and then also adjust user permissions to control what these users can do with their content.  The release of this feature makes inflo ready to be unleashed into operational environments where our customers have a user base with diverse skillsets ensuring that content is secure but readily available.

inflo already has a clean content lead UX but that didn’t stop the team from making further updates and improvements.  We’re moving things around in the UX to better match your workflow, we’re improving the visibility of your most important information and we’re maximising the latest improvements in the UX technology for better transitions, animations and user feedback.

inflo Product Manager Matthew Hall added “the features we are releasing today are just a snapshot of what we have plans for.  As the digital media landscape is becoming increasingly software defined, inflo can be adapted to take on any shape our customers need.”
